After long troubled journeys through a couple of continents Rodica Gruia (Alice Gruia's grandmother) and Rodica Grill made Sydney their home and each other their best friend. This character-driven and intimate double portrait is about the lust for life, the humour, power and wisdom of two women, who could not be more different and yet similar, more extraordinary and yet ordinary at the same time.
